Upper Beaches

Bounded by Victoria Park in the east, Coxwell Avenue in the west, Kingston Road to the south and the Canadian National Railway tracks to the north, the Upper Beaches is an area located directly north of The Beaches. ‘Upper Beaches’ was initially a marketing tag used by real estate agents and developers to attract buyers from 2001-2003 for selling homes on land that was redeveloped. Buildings that run just north of Danforth Avenue are also part of the neighbourhood with the western portion between Woodbine Avenue and Coxwell being referred to as the ‘Woodbine Corridor’.
